Moonroof question

I was reading on Shotimes.com about sunshade replacement. It was recommended that for Generation 2 SHOs (Which happens to be my model), that it would be wise to invest in one of the newer model's sunshade. Currently, my sunshade in my 1992 SHO looks like **** and I'm dying for a replacement. I was wondering, have any of you purchased a newer sunshade for their older SHO? Do any of you know the newer sunshade's model number? Thanks in advance.

i remember awhile back one guy took his old sunshade out and sanded it down and painted it up real nice. just an idea, but sorry i dont know the part number but i would imagine any good moonroof/glass installer would be able to get you one if you cant find it through ford. good luck.
