Will the Monroe Upper Strut mounts work properly with the SHO.

Meaning no rubbing & are not longer than OEM's. I'm going with Eibach's & Koni's to lower the car, I don't want the strut mounts to raise it back up again. I've heard some strut mounts are thicker than OEM's causing the ride height to be higher.

There is so much debate over various strut mounts.

I can get Monroe front strut mount with bearing for under $30 at Advance Auto Parts.

The closest that I can find is RockAuto with the Moogs for $40.79

The whole reason I'm kinda in a hurry is that I will be putting an order in tonight with RockAuto.

If I find out on here that the Monroe strut mounts don't work right with the SHO, then I'd rather include the Moog's with tonights order, vs. paying seperate shipping a day or two from now.

Yes, the monroes work fine. They might increase the ride height a wee little, but not so's you'd notice. I have the monroes +bearings on my front struts and they work just dandy.

Just a heads up about my suspension parts buy a while ago... You can get Moog or whatever you want locally. You may save a few $'s with Rock Auto but more than a few of the boxes packed from the factory had stuff missing (strut mount kits with and without bearings among other things).

Not Rock Auto's fault, but it set me way back in time and the money I thought I saved. Talk about a PITA when you're in a hurry. Shipping from RA getting stuff that wasn't complete, shipping back to RA (at my expense), waiting for them to ship out replacements. Too much wasted time and money. I love Rock Auto's prices and quick shipping but there are things better done locally so you can return stuff and get resolution quickly.

I have also heard that the studs are shorter on aftermarket mounts, meaning not enough threads for mounting a strut brace; if someone out there has aftermarket ones that have long enough studs, please let us know.

I used the aftermarket ones and the brace. There wasn't as much stud as stock mounts but I had enough bite to keep the brace bracket in place. I would recommend stock mounts but aftermarket might be barely adequate.
