Now my only dilemma is that I like the mesh of the upper grille so much, that I don't really know at this point if I want tarnish it by placing that custom Ford oval emblem into it.
My thoughts are that I like the fact that a person looking in their rear view mirror has no clue wth's coming up behind them, so I'm thinking about leaving it as it sits right now, minus any emblem all together.
Then, when I pass said driver, they'll know for sure wth it was that just passed them when they see my custom, stretched out Taurus badging and custom black/white Ford oval emblem on the rear trunk lid only.
The difference with a black car (like Andrew's) is that the black lips are not visible (either because of the car being black or the black teeth lol). For Andrew, I agree, the stealth look looks good, but for you Mike, still not sure it is accomplished... still needs something to offset the black lips... JMHO.I'm really dig'n the stealth look as well Andrew.
Glad to know I'm in good company though, knowing that we are going through similiar design issues as far as it relating to whether or not to rock an emblem in that upper grille, or not.
Like you, after having some time to roll around after installing the grille, I see people goose necking almost all the time now and pointing the SHO out to their passengers or what have you...... I think by not having the emblem that it kind of adds to the overall "what the **** is that" type of theme.
Thanks for the kudos bro......![]()
Pam said it just came out of prime today, so she said I should have this week.
