I need new gaskets for my valve covers they leak a little. I wanted a guy that knows the SHO a bit. And I am going to need struts. My last alighnment the guy said it couldnt be placed back to specs I would need a camber/caster kit to correct it.

I have had good luck with Salem Brothers on Warner just West of Hardy. They maintained my 90MTX and have done well by me on all my other fleet. Eddie C. is their Ford Master Mech and he is very helpful and knows the SHO as good as any I have found. In fact I wouldn't have bought my 95MTX if I hadn't known that I had Eddie as a resource. They are spendy at a shop rate of $80/hr, but they have the dyno and all the latest. Mark Salem also has a list of other recommended shops on his web site.

We have some real sharp guys as part of the club, but I hate to take regular advantage of them when they have their own list of stuff to do. Also it's hard to get together sometimes when you need something done.

Hope this helps

I havent bought them yet. I was checking my plug wells 2 days ago and spotted a little oil. SO I know I will need it done. And a fewother minor things. I checked on the price a bit more then I thought. 71.99 for a little rubber...ouch. I am in the wrong business.

Vavle cover gaskets

I did my vavle cover gaskets in the parking lot of my apartment they are not that bad to do. If you want to save some money or if you want some help I can help. I had three guys from school over and we did them in about 3 hrs. I got the gaskets from Auto Zone. My schedule is kinda packed with school and work but if we can get together we could do them.

E-Mail me w/ any ?'s

Towards the strut issue...I wouldn't believe what they're telling you. I was told that by a couple guys at Firestone (they had been good before), and then took it to my buddy's dad at the Ford dealership. and he got it set up pretty nicely (even with a bent strut). I think most people don't want to do alignments on the SHO because of the spot welds on the stock camber/caster plates.
