I searched for this but was not able to find a thread with in the context. Why would I need a 2.5 or even 3.0 bar sensor? Is there something I am missing with this engine? They have a 2.0 Bar stock. This means I could push nearly 30psi before going outside of that sensor's range. If I upgraded to the 2.5 bar, I could go all the way to 36ish psi and still be inside the range of the sensor. I don't think I have seen anyone pushing over 18ish psi around here. So again, why do I need a sensor capable of supra 2JZ boost numbers?

The RANGE on the 2BAR is fine, but the ACCURACY at high pressure apparently sucks. When you're tuning you want as much accuracy as possible.

Anyone know the stock part number for the 3 Bar sensor so I can pick it from the local dealer?

This may be a question only a few know the answer to. But, Anyone know the specifics on the map sensor Model # CX-2401? It looks just like the one I have and is only $50. Any reason why that would not work?

CX2231 is the 3 bar

CX2401 is the 2.5 bar

As said above, we refer to the map sensor in gauge pressure, not total pressure. I have the 2.5 bar in stock if you want me to toss one your way.
