Has anyone attempted something like this? I know the drive routing through the intake is a pipe-dream but tell me what you think!

M62 SHO

I started a M90 Project on my 5.0 but the link below shows how far I got before I sold it. It was mounted but the intake plumbing was not done. I did have the drive done and a tweeker to adjust the computer.

M90 5.0

Opinions? Concerns?

Thanks in advance!

I've done plenty of research into using either the m62 or the m90 (or a whipplecharger for that matter)on a SHO. Actually, it wouldn't be all that hard. Remove the runner tubes (gasp!)and surge tank. Develop a box-type manifold that would mate the the IMRC plate and the blower, use a custom nose drive length (available from Magnuson)to get the pulley where it belongs and there you go. Trouble with such a setup is the required clearance under the hood. It'd be a stretch to get it to fit with even a 3" cowl, which in my opinion would look rediculous. Not sure why it would have taken so much money to have such a system developed by the professionals other than tuning, but the idea of putting a cowl or bulge on the Gen3 hood didn't appeal to me at all so the idea died.
