Believe me I've searched and found no answer!
I noticed my speedo bouncing and it finally dropped down and stopped yesterday while driving. So, today I went out there and found the cable from the firewall connecting to the lower speedo cable. I tried turning the upper cable and the speedo does jump, meaning the upper was fine. So, I then tried unhooking the clip for the lower speedo cable and unscrewing the two plastic portions. Got them unhooked and was messing around with cleaning the lower and barely touched it and it just was completely disconnected! This sucks because it connects to the VSS and runs back up to the upper speedo cable. The cables looked great by the way.
Question is how do I get it back in???
I couldn't even see with a light or anything where the VSS is. I have rather medium/small hands so it could be done...hopefully. I just want to be able to connect it the best possible way. I'm assuming the retaining clip came off.
Also, should I change the VSS while down there???
