i wanna lower my new sho its a gen1, 89 i wanna get coil over but can't seem to find any. if not what spring are stiff and lower the car for a nice stance....

Koni does make a coiloversetup for the Taurus, though you will need your OE strut housings and a bit of fabrication skill. you can find them on Ebay for roughly $420.

another option is buying Moog springs and cutting coild from them. i have cut Moogs on Tokico struts. cutting 1 1/2 coils on the front gave me a 2" lowered stance.

You may want to look into this coilovers. The kit is made by MidwestSHO.com. I haven't talked with anone that has this kit on their SHO's, but it looks good to look into.

If you just go with springs go for Intrax.

The coil-overs are more of a track set-up.

I have Ground Control/Koni adjustable combo. I called Ground Control and asked if they had a coilover kit for the SHO and they told me yes, but I had to use Koni's.

How do you like the ride with 18's? I'm thinking 18 inches too, but not sure if I want coilovers.
