best bet is to get a lug nut and weld it to the lock nut and take it off as you would a ordinary bolt. been there done that.

i forced a socket on it and beat the carp out of it. then it was stuck on the socket and it broke free.better do it now and remove them all before you get a flat on the highway and have to do this.

they make sockets to do it..same idea as stripped screw backouts only they go around the lug nut...you'd be surprised how often this had to be done at the garage at worked at

Go to Sears and get a 12-point 21mm socket. Pound it on, and it'll take them off. I just did it with two slicers at the junkyard. Socket was $5.69

We used to get people coming into the shop every day that lost their key. Kit payed for itself in about a week. Kind of expensive but it is worth it the first time you need to use it.

when i worked in sears there were tons of people coming in there without the keys. so then we would just put a vice grip on it really really tight and then use a long cheater bar that would fit over the vice grip and crack it loose. it worked for all of our times but if the lug nut was rusted on there it wouldnt work i think it would slip. thats what i did at sears tire shop

I use drill bits, drill right down the center of the stud. Gotta put that 200 dollar set of bits to use every now and then. :) Only did that because there wasnt enough 'nut' to get a bite on it with anything.
