Don’t compromise!! Get Ford brand. I have a 2011 and first pump lasted 195000 ks. It was original. Ford put in an aftermarket pump and it lasted 19000ks ! $3000 installed, get a good one

Also strongly recommend Ford parts for this job, except maybe gaskets.
There are a few dealers who sell online at considerably lower prices than most dealers. Tasca, Varsity Ford, ford partsgiant, etc. When buying a lot of expensive parts like this it might pay back to have it shipped. If you’re lucky you have one local.
Sometimes Rock has great prices on Motorcraft parts.
There is also a handy post with all the part numbers you might need for the timing chain job in a Flex forum.

2013 MKS with 106k miles threw a P0016 code and after all the recommended diagnostic work confirmed timing chain “stretch”. So am reassembling the engine and notice the 3 seals between the VCT solenoid housing and the cam phaser seem worn and loose. They look like small plastic piston...
