Anyone know of any spoilers out there (either after market, or from other vehicles) that look good on a SHO?

I'm not looking for a gigantic wing like those rice burners have, just something sporty enough to make it distinctive.

I don't care much for the stock SHO spoiler, since it doesn't really give it a good look (in my opinion anyways).

I'm looking for one that fits onto a Gen 1 by the way. I'm just looking for some suggestions, and I don't really feel like flipping through ebay to find something that looks like it will fit.

Any info would be nice thanks.

IMO the 'PLUS' spoiler is the only one that is made to fit & looks great on a Gen1SHO! My Plus did not come with the correct spoiler, it had it originally cause the holes were bondo over! Someone did install an 85-86 Firebird rear spoiler that actually looked pretty good, it matched the top view curve & the width was also good.

I was looking at an Integra spoiler, it actually looked like it would be subtle enough to give me the look I want, but I don't know if it would fit. It isn't high enough to be considered rice, but I just don't know how it would look on a SHO.

Maybe I'll make my own if nothing else works.

The 84 firebird spoiler looks good.

off a 95-99 mustang. Some people don't like it. I do.

This pic is prior to waxing, buffing, cleaning, etc.

That mustang spoiler looks good. I think i'll look into getting one off ebay after I send the car to an auto body shop.

I have seen a few of those on some Mazda Proteges around here... when the car gets going faster than 40, the ends of the wing start flapping like a seagul... too much weight on the ends and not enough support/stiffening. We call them 747 wings (cos they flap, see).

that is a problem with these wings but if you drill the side of the wing to fit a rubber stop ( like the one you find on hatchbacks or rear hatch doors on suv's) it will stop the flop by keeping presure against the wing and body of the car . Iv had it on for about 2 or 3 years like this with no prob and you cant even see them also some of thoes wings you see flopping around are because they are not mounted properly, they should be mounted to the trunk suport (frame) and not just the sheet metal.

The proper term for this device is "wing." On a street car at street speeds, they are for show, not go.

It's not the first time I've seen that spoiler on a G2 Taurus. It just does not do it for me. The curves IMO just do not match to the end of the car. It does not look to bad but IMO, The Stock 93-95 Spoiler is perfect for the car.
