Got the old one off and the new one ALMOST on.

It's connected to the SF and the stabilizer bar but it doesn't go in as far as the old one.

Suggestions?

Doesn't go into what? The ball joint doesn't go into the knuckle all the way? Maybe take a picture.

I have cut springs up front, and poly all around... and to get mine back into the hole, I always end up using my jack to push the LCA up into the knuckle. Not sure if thats what you're talking about...

Before I always remembered jamming my cheater bar in there, and sitting down on it to pull the LCA down low enough to get in there.

x2 on the pic..

the inner bushing has some preload on it, and the ears on the ends of the inner sleeve are squished in to make it tight, so you need to use a persuader (hammer, etc.) to get it back in, then you need to leave the strut rod bushing nut loose until you get the inner bolt installed to make it all line up.

Thanks guys.

I tapped it in with a hammer. I've just never done an LCA before and I didn't want to damage anything.

She all bolted in. Now just have to grease it!
