It takes all kinds to make a life- More power to you if you like it. I've only had this car for 8 weeks and it has truly made a believer out of me. I used to look at them and wonder?....Are they as good as the car mags say? The ultimate stealthy ride. Well, the first time those cams went up on song at WOT- WOW! I couldn't wipe the smile off of my face. It says 180,247, and still raises its' head and barks like this? So, instead of an oil change and a detail, I commenced to reading the Phoenix boys how-to page and have embarked on my refurbishment with the intention of driving it until it cannot be fixed any more. It holds the family, gets 27+MPG hwy., and satisfies my need for speed and decent handling. Oh yeah- It cost all of $200!!!! The brakelight switch was broken, and they had just spent $2300 on an auto rebuild the year before, and assumed it had dumped again, because it wouldn't go into gear. I got the paperwork home and found it had 18 month old brakes and tires and fuel pump and hard button climate control, etc. etc. It either needs a new rack or tie rod ends, but that will be a pleasure because this is a car that pays you back for your labor. I'm not all that hot on the black- brown color combo, but maybe somebody out there has all-leather seats for a 2nd gen 93 atx? This has turned into a rant, but I really enjoy the feedback and selflessness of you people on this site. Thank you all for sharing your insight with a slightly used 53 year old Luddite that still wants to have fun behind the wheel.
