:D:DWell I bought a 2012 sho last week. Test drove it and bought it the same day. Just the last few days seemed really sluggish. I decided to search and it led me here. After reading all the post on trouble shooting. I think I got it figured out. I drive it early today and it had no torque what so ever. Took back home looked under hood. I cleaned the air box out. A few leaves. Took air tube that goes into throttle body of. Noticed a touch of oil sitting in it ? Looked at the MAF. Sprayed MAF on it let it dry. Looked more on this forum and led me to knock sensor wires. The were definitely rubbing on the head. Taped them up tucked a plastic spiral plastic ring around them. Let it sit for about a hour. Drove up to gas station shut it off. Drove back home and immediately noticed tons of power and torque back. My car has 72000 on it also have a bumper to bumper 12/12 remaining. Along with 100000 /2 year power train left
I was planning on taking it in to get it checked out but my issue seems to be resolved? I'm thinking that the oil in the throttle body will become a issue?

Sorry for the long post. Thank you all for your input

It's debated. check out catch cans or water meth injection. Both are prolly not good for your warranty

Ok. Also obviously I didn't clean the MAF sensor sense it don't have one. Not sure which one I cleaned. Just before the throttle opening in the plastic tube.

There are two MAP sensors on the car. One of them is right before the TB and you sprayed that one. The other one is on the top of the intake and if you do a tune + 3 bar MAP upgrade, that will be the one you change to 3 bar (I believe, but not certain, the one by the TB is already 3 bar).

Oil may or may not become an issue. For people that sometimes have hesitation they will suck out oil that's accumulated in the CAC (Charged Air Cooler.....factory name for intercooler) and that sometimes resolves any issues.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I read earlier today about the MAP's. I will clean tomorrow. Also going to check if any oil is in the CAC.
First Ford I've ever owed. Have to say I'm impressed with the ride and power so far. Looks like I'll just clean the sensors and check CAC during oil changes. Thanks again for your help.

FYI. I'm clocking the 0-60 right around 5.2 seconds on average after took care of the knock sensor wires. Can't believe they would leave wires that way that have the potential to cause problems.
