To answer SinisterSHO's question, I do not know at all what kind of wheels these things are. I do not know how to post pics so see the pics here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2750933 and maybe you can tell me :thankyou:? I bought them off of eBay and the tires were brand new and they are lighter than slicers, judging by me lifting both, so I couldn't pass up the deal. The color combo has grown on me and believe it or not many people really like the overall look because I guess it looks different :nut:. And NOTAURIUS I still think you wagon rocks and I cannot wait to see it with the 3.2 swap, good luck with that.

Already been answered but yep that was me with the 90 and the 91+ in Cali and Indy. Did we meet at the convention by chance? The 90 is no longer in service but still running. The 91+ is still going strong but the coil overs are off for now. And thanks for the encouragement on the wagon! That car is a blast and I've wanted one for like 6 years so I'm glad to have it. It's the only MT-5 wagon I've ever seen.

Definitely Sport Edition Fox 2. I like the look of the gold wheels on the silver car.

BTW, nice house!

its cool to see how everyone accepted matts wagon. personally i thought people would mock him the whole time for the car.
the way i feel is you get a car for what you like.

me and matt are the same in the aspect of liking odd ball cars :rofl:

i wanted to get a omni GLHS sometime in the future for a daily beater.

see how many people think that would be cool haha.

seriously tho its real cool how many people accept matts wagon without criticism.

We did. I flew out in 04 and was with Matt Wheeler for the week. In 05 I had the black/grey MTX in my signature.

Maybe these specs are wrong, or maybe you had some heavy tires on the slicers....
17= 21.6lbs, 18= 23lbs
Slicers are 18lbs.

Would've been nice to weigh them without the tires, just for confirmation.

SASHO91 I said that they felt lighter when I was lifting them, the tires one the gold ones are kind of skimpy 225/45/17 and the slicers had 215/60/16. I do not know what kind of weight differences these tire sizes would make but I am sure it effects something. I should have put them on the scale but I am pretty certain that the wheel/tire combo is lighter than the stock wheel/ tire combo(as measured by my arm scales aka these huge guns :rofl: j/k). I am sure that the wheels weigh more than slicers judging by their specs but I am not sure of the weight of each wheel/ tire combo. Which tire brand makes the lightest tire if there even such a thing?

Tire weight varies even inside of the same brand... so, a 215/60/16 tire could weigh 25lbs , and the same tire in a 225/50/16 can weigh less or more....
Just need to look around. Tire rack has the weight of the wheels on their site.

FWIW, my combo weighs in a 41lbs a piece w/ slicers.
