How is it you program the key Fob? I bought one off ebay but have terrible directions on how to program it so I can use it.

Thanks.

There is a great post here on this forum. Someone had dug it up last week, a quick search would prolly find it.

1. Jumper 2 pin gray connector in trunk on drivers side. Must pull back carpet to find it. Its *near* the fuel cutoff switch...but BEHIND the carpet.
2. Key in ignition and turn to "ON". Power door locks should lock and unlock.
3. Press any button on remote FOB. Power door locks should lock and unlock.
4. Repeat 3 for all remote FOB's EVEN the original one as its memory was lost. You can program up to 4 total I believe.
5. Turn key off. Power door locks should lock and unlock.
6. Remove jumper for connector in trunk.
7. Enjoy.

#1 is the "hard" part...trying to find it. It is usually more towards the rear of the car...between the strut tower and fuel cutoff. There is a white push on clip holding it to the metal under the carpet.

Hope that helps.

This is VERY easy to do. I work for FORD and do this ALL the time. Sit in the car, close the door, and lock them. Then you need to turn the key to positoin II(on but not starting) and off around 7 times. When the doors un lock(key wull be position II) leave it on then press any button on the remote(I usually use lock as to guarantee it works). if you turn it to off you will need to unlock and lock again and repeat until it's done correctly.
