key fob died

a couple days ago my key fob stoped working, the key pad still works though. I just tried reprogramming the fob with new batteries with no luck. I have a feeling the modual in the trunk went bad because my subwoofer was pushed right up agaist it. any ideas of what I should do next?

If you have access to another good module, swap it out. If it works, problem solved. If not, you've eliminated that.

did you reprogram the module and fob? I think when you replace the battery it recommends doing this. Not sure why, but try that first. There is a link on the forum somewhere about how to program a new fob.
