Okay, so how preciesly do I know where to place my jack? I heard that in the owners manual there is a section that tells you the specific points where you can place a jack to jack-up the front-end, but I can't find anything in there. Since I'm going to be doing my starter pretty soon here, I'm wondering where I should place my jack to jack the SHO up?
Also, do I place my jack-stands on the frame?

Use the sub frame, this is where the engine and tranny sits on, use at least 2 jackstands for your own safety. Find a good sturdy area then have ur way with it. Good luck.

Anywhere on the sub frame, or just after it, on the uni-body frame rails. On the rear, you can use the "box" that the rear strut rods bolt to the body. :thumb: Just be EXTRA CAREFUL, and make sure the car is properly supported. My father found his neighbor dead under a car when he was 11 years old, frim a failed jack, and no jack stands! :frown: I NEVER, and I mean NEVER jack up a car, without jack stand(s). :thumb:
