Is NiCom a good replacement for PTWA coating?

I am rebuilding this engine, had an injector hang up caused a couple scratches right at the very top of the cylinder. I have thought about sleeves but a couple shops have suggested looking into NiCom/Nikasil from US Chrome ,as I can’t find anyone who does the PTWA. Anyone have any experience with sleeving these engines or getting the cylinders honed and recoated?

I thought shoblock said the cylinders aren't plasma transferred? I see darton sleeves. can you email them to see if there are recommended vendor shops that do this?

everything ive read said these and almost all other aluminum ford engines are plasma transfer.if i cant get it coated im gonna have it sleeved. a few machine shops told me about the nikasil plating on motorcycle engines and some porsche cars even use nicom/nikasil. i havent emailed ford to ask about a vendor or shop that does ptwa but thats a good idea.
