OK, i started at 130pm my time and now i have everything off. Engine has no sludge in it and looks ok. I was wondering if you guys recommend i try to get all the oil out of the plug holes 1st or is it ok to let some of it go down the hole. There is only 1 hole that is pretty full, and thats the one with the cracked plug boot on the wires. Also i know this thing has been apart alread cause the brackets that are bolted the intake were loos in the back. Im sure they were to lazt to tighten it up. Anyway so far its not to bad of a job. Im taking my time so i do it right,Im doing the themostat tomorrow and hopefully will be done with it. Its just hott as heck out here today. Any little tips woould help....Thank all

Try not to let any of the oil go down into the engine! use old rags or paper towels to soak up as much as possible, You don't want to go through all this work and have your engine grenade on you over something simple.

Besides that it sounds like you are doing fine. Just take your time and be careful. Your SHO will love you for it. :thumb:

One quick tip for ya:

Either perform the TB coolant bypass mod, or REMEMBER to connect those coolant lines... or you'll be getting wet :D

I forgot about those lines the first time I had the intake off :bonk:
