got a nice used one with intact mounting tabs; I don't want to break any of the plastic fasteners when removing the stocker, so looking for quick instruction on how to replace. Thanks !

unscrew the top pieces with a philips, then pull those out

then take a screwdriver and push down on the bottom tabs

it should pull out after that

My '89 has no phillips screws for the mounts; there are plastic rivets for the top 2 tabs; I just want to onow how they come out and do not want to break them

If they are the type that don't have the pin running through them, (kind of like a drywall or concrete anchor), but just a flat piece of plastic, just put your thumbs on the top of them and pull up on the grille. They came out just fine for me, just make sure you are pressing on tops of the 'rivits' or they try to goe through the hole.

:thumb: Congrats on finding the grille, I've been looking for one for a while.

I got it in several weeks ago; very simple; just pulled up on the center of the push pins and they come right out; took about 5 minutes altogether and looks great.
