Been here since I got my 2010 but I just traded it in for a Lexus. I've read almost every post here since, so I know there's a lot of SHO love. But there's some displeasure too, and my experience wasn't really roses. Sorry to say but I'm definitely in the "if it's gonna cost $45k it needs to be darn near perfect" camp.
Instead I had the transmission issues, went to one local dealer, wouldn't fix what they couldn't replicate even though I eventually showed them the TSB re: intermittent problem. Called Ford direct, they told me try another dealer, which I did with basically same result. Car clunked (rarely) but also felt like it had 100 horsepower (at least once daily). Not interested in getting plowed under because it didn't go when expected and yes that almost happened a few times. Guess I could work with Ford MORE or...just solve the problem myself.
Between that, a bunch of little issues, pretty crappy mileage and the dealer "experience" here I just pulled the trigger and traded it in for a Lexus. In fairness to the car it was one of the earliest builds but that doesn't explain the numb responsiveness of the local dealers. It's really too much to post but I was kind of planning to write Ford and detail it further.
Wish it could have worked better but this whole little problems / dealer won't fix things unless the part is falling off in front of them crap is why I didn't buy Ford for a good ten years prior and it pains really pains me to see it still happening. Then I come here and read about dealers that just do TSBs for the asking and it is pretty frustrating.
Good luck to all, the car did a lot of things right, but overall just frustrated me more than the cost deserves (especially in light of the rapid depreciation of late). If your experience is better, bless you and I hope it continues!
