Two days ago I sold my ford fuckis 01 on craigslist for 1800.00. It was a good car, no problems, bout 182k, ran perfect. But, I've been missing my 89 sho that I owned back in 2004. My friends were always impressed with how fast it was. Yesterday I saw a craigslist add for a sho in canby, no pictures. I didn't expect much. It turns out it was grandma owned in awesome condition (mocha colored w/ the trunk spoiler). The old lady bought it in 1995 with 56k. Now, 2013 it only has 114k slightly worn leather as expected but perfect body. I scooped it up for 1800.00. What an amazing deal and car. I am stoked.

Yeah It's definately a sho plus. The inside of the hood is different from my 1989, it has the trunk spoiler, the 24 dohc badge, and a slightly different skirt. I drove it on my lunch break. This has much more power than what I am used to in recent years. Luckily Ford gave it 4 out of 5 stars on the crash rating. Not that it would help on speeds of 100mph + lol.

LOL, sounds like it was taken care of. Probably dealer maintained too. I wouldnt worry about it too much. Just get your ducks in a row so you will be prepared when something does come up. Did you get any service history with the car?
