Ok, well I got my wheel bearing and all that together, and when I took it out, my idle is way up there. 2k sometimes 2300, and I can't figure out why. The speedo cable is crusty, but the speedo still works. If I pull the MAF connector, it dies, if I pull the IAC controller, it keeps running. No cables are binding, throttle hits the stop like it always had before. Now the only weird thing I noticed, when I first had it out, it felt sick almost.. just didn't want to get up and go, but then its just doing a high idle deal. The idle was irratic on the way back when I would step on the clutch, but when it finally decided to settle down, it was up at 2000 again. I tried to reset it, and nope it just hangs there. I'm supposed to be moving out today, my landlord isn't wanting to give me an extra day to mess around with it, and its about to just drive me nutz.. any ideas SHO guru's ?

Oh yea, all that kinda stuff was fixed / checked when I put it all together. I cleaned the thing and it was a little light feeling maybe in the spring department. I dont know, I havent ever had to replace it with a newer one, and dont know if that spring can go bad, but it hasn't caused a problem since. I smacked it on the end opposite the connetor end.

I can tell I need a fuel pump bad, codes and all I know its due for an upgrade. Thinkin about Josh's kit. Braided lines would look nice I think :) Other than that, its time for me to think about some sort of suspension to settle on, Quaife sounds nice too, then its time for some FI :) It will be blown some day.. gotta pay for new baby stuff for a while tho.. overtime = SHO money... :) just dont tell that lady that follows me around all the time. lol

ANY time you unplug the MAF, IAC, TPS, and a few others, it should respond.

You answered your own question once you pulled the IAC, and nothing happend.
