PITT
TURD POLISHER
Took the SHO to the track last night, wasn't planning on it, but a friend of mine wanted to run his 92 300zx twin turbo to see what it would do (13.7 1/4), and I ran my first run of the night at 15.5, just off the launch it seemed to fall on its face/lag some around the 60ft mark and then it started pulling good. Launched it around 2500rpm, had wheel spin but was pleased with the sixty foot time and decided to run it again and try launching at a higher rpm, so I staged it up to 4k, dropped the clutch and heard a loud clunk and I wasn't going anywhere. Tech pushed me off the track and I was certain I had just broken the transmission as I didn't see any damage to the axles and it wasn't moving when put in any gear.
Had it towed back home, thanks to a tip from Kevin Spann on the SESHO facebook page he believed it to be my axle and when I got it up in the air and spun the wheel, left axle was turning but not at the trans. That made my day! :woo-hoo: No diff destroyed (not yet anyways) So i ordered a CV axle and will be back at the track in a couple weeks and we'll see if I can improve my times.

New Mustang 5.0 in left lane, not sure if/what mods he may of had.
