I did a search on this and could not find the exact answers I was looking for. Anyway, I had acquired a 26mm rear bar, poly bushings, and HD endlinks. I had a ford shop install these for me while my car was in for other work. I get a lot of bumping/banging noises out the back now. I crawled under and noticed that the top-most bushing/washer on each side is "loose". There is play there and the nut on the endlinks are tightened all the way to the end of the thread. I'm guessing this can't be good. So, since it looks like the endlinks I got were slightly too long, how can I fix this? Add more washers? And is there anything I should know about removing the rear sway bar endlinks? Is it as simple as jacking/supporting the car and then unbolting everything? Do I have to worry about alignment afterwards? Any help is appreciated. I've always been hesitant doing work on suspension components.
