Hey all, got an odd one. I just replaced the large coolant hose that goes from the top of the engine below the intake into the throttle body. While I had the intake off I cleaned the intake and took the allen caps off to spray carb cleaner and take care of the gunk as well as cleaning the nostrils of the throttle body. I also hosed the inside of the plenum a bit with the carb cleaner. Got it all back together and now my idle is not right and I'm not getting any check engine light. I've done a ton of work on the car in the last year including the plugs wires o2's water pump timing belt and pulleys and tensioner seals accessory belt gaskets starter alternator tie rod ends and straps etc? One hint is that there is a bit of white smoke coming from the tailpipe. I'm inclined to think I just have some residual carb cleaner in the system but would like some other opinions. My SHO is a 95 ATX with 115k miles on it. I am the second owner and the original owner took good care of the car as there was no sludge or evidence of abuse to the engine. In fact my mechanic told me he hadn't seen as clean an engine in a while. Ideas?

Thanks for getting back with me. It's acting like it's missing? On the way to work this morning the check engine light did come on I got the following codes off the car at lunch time:
335
538
539
172
173
332
I don't understand why I would get the 172,173 and 332 cades since I have done the o2's and cleaned the intake and nostrils when I did my coolant hose. The car ran fine before the work and I'm stumped. I'm going to check the plug wires in case I somehow got them mixed up? The plugs and wires and only 5k miles old and are Motorcraft. What do you think?

It's too late for this now, but I don't think you are supposed to use regular carb cleaner on the intake, MAF sensor, etc. on these cars. It has been a while since I have seen a post on this, but a search on intake cleaning, or MAF sensor cleaning should turn up the problem and possible solution.
