question, does anyone have the email address of the guy that sells the reinforced front/rear motor mounts? I've searched motor mounts but can't seem to find it. My SHO is completely stock and I feel the extreme motor mounts from SHONUT are not needed and would be a waste of money. I'm just getting tired of that small clunk I hear once in a while when starting off. I checked the engine with the hood open. I get about a 2 inch roll both in 1st gear and reverse. thanks guys.
on a side note, I just drove from Long Island, N.Y. to the Delaware Bridge, left at 5 AM, steady 85 mph entire trip (smokeys must have been napping) got 24 mpg. not bad for car having 163k miles. :thumb:

I think he wants Kirk's reinforced mounts. Unfortunately I don't have the information handy, but search in the performance section for kirk and motor mount and you should be able to find them. Also, Netviper was going to make some too, if I remember correctly.

I have been making some also but there are a lack of cores in the SHO community... at least on this end.

I will have a front and will a rear also soon.

well I finally fixed the clunking noise when I started in first gear from a stop. all set to purchase both motor mounts but first I had to get car inspected. shop said my outside tie rods were shot, flapping in the breeze. buddy told me they must have been clunking for a while. he changed both tie rods, clunking gone. was not the motor mounts at all. I thought the engine really did not rock to much when I tested the mounts. the car drove not bad with the beat tie rods, but now I notice an improved ride and feel for the road with the new ones. So, if you here a clunking, before you spend time/$ on changing the mounts, check those tie rods.
