I swear I saw an article on a SHO page somewhere on how to convert these to work correctly in the GEN2s. If you know where it is, or know how, please email me. Mine runs the fan high all the time.

I got that exact same one from a 1996 Lincoln. It did the same thing, run the fan on high. I sold it to someone for parts and he said that you can swap faceplates to get it to work. You have got to be real good with soldering though, or else I wouldn't recommend it.

Swapping faceplates wasnt it, the one on ebay running right now with these units didnt have faceplates swapped, it was something about soldering in a resistor or something like that to the unit, which wouldn't be a big deal.
