Ok guys, ever since the accident in April, my hood release has been iffy. I removed one from a JY car for no cost as I was buying lots of parts that day.
Which way do you move it to adjust it? It can slide forwards and backwards but nothing has helped yet. I can pull the release from inside and it does not pop up. But if I go outside I can pry my fingers in around the headlights and it will finally pop. Otherwise I have to put a hand on the rear of the hood and pull at the same time.
Is there a general procedure to tweak it?
