i recently bought a 91' hood for my 90' sho and when i have the hood struts on the new hood it doesnt close properly, where can i get a hood prop and how much are they? can i get them at the local parts store?

I'd imagine you could pic one up at a local salvage yard for relatively cheap. Auto parts stores or detail shops might also be able to help you. I can't imagine them being more than $10 or $20 tops...but I could be wrong.

Are you sure it's the hood struts that are causing the problem?

Take a better look at the hood alignment and bumpers. I just put my Plus hood on, used the original hood props, and had no problems. The bumpers in the header panel needed to be adjusted down.
