Welcome! Among generation 2 SHOs the '92 has some real advantages, because the '92 does not have the center console, the spoiler, or VAPS (variable assisted power steering) In my opinion the key letter in VAPS is the V. There are some disadvantages: soft-button EATC, weird horn buttons, and front power brakes that are not so good as later years, but you can fix all of these over time. If you get to the point where you need front brake rotors and pads, you should consider the '96 brake upgrade (see the post above) I own both a '92 and an MTX '95, and I used to own an MTX '94, so my opinion though perhaps wrong is at least unbiased.
