Hey my name is Jim, im 25, and just bought a 92 sho mtx, its not in the best condition, but its in great mechanical condition. This is only my second car, my first is a 95 olds cutlass. But just thought i would drop by and say whats up.

yeah pa and jersey have quite a few, course pa has a lot mroe but pa is a pretty big state.

damn i didnt even see that one, the one im getting i bought from my boss, for $800.

there are a few things i need for it like a icm. which is like $130, where in pittsburgh you from??

Welcome! Among generation 2 SHOs the '92 has some real advantages, because the '92 does not have the center console, the spoiler, or VAPS (variable assisted power steering) In my opinion the key letter in VAPS is the V. There are some disadvantages: soft-button EATC, weird horn buttons, and front power brakes that are not so good as later years, but you can fix all of these over time. If you get to the point where you need front brake rotors and pads, you should consider the '96 brake upgrade (see the post above) I own both a '92 and an MTX '95, and I used to own an MTX '94, so my opinion though perhaps wrong is at least unbiased.

yeah i will try to get some pics when i goto work tomorrow since its sitting there until i can get it fixed. but dont mind the pink bondo on the rear quaterpanels and the missing fog/driving lights.

But i will get the pics tomorrow.
