Hey,
I live in Waco, and I am interested in joining LSSHOC. Where do ya'll meet and do you hav e any cruise nights, shows, track days, etc? Also, I was reading abou the SVT On Track Day. My fater has a 2000 SVT Contour that we took up to TMS last year on the track day. Great experience. There was an auto cross, a 600 ft (I guess) slalom, and of course the infield race track. Sever Bondurant instructor were present, and the SVT trailer was there to showcase the Boss Mustang and all the SVT products. Two Lightnings and two Cobras were avaliable to test drive. Unfortunately, I was too young to drive in the events last year, but this year is different. I'm going to show the SVT Contours, Lightnings, and maybe even a few poorly driven Cobras what a 91+ with suspension upgrades (and hopefully 96 brake upgrade by that time) can do.

91+, Konis/Eibachs, SFCs, strut tower braces
all polyurethane, rear control arm brace
Firestone SZ50s, Hi Revs Jr clutch, K&N
Police subframe bushings, 2 12' Rockford Phosgate subs, interior neons (I promise that they aren't gaudy)

Thanks

Hey, we would love to have you join us on our next get together! We are a loosely knit group that has get-togethers twice a year, and have a blast doing so! Every once and a while we might have a track day, or other things planned for the members in the Austin/Waco/Dallas area to come often joining another car club because of our smaller numbers. If you would like to visit a more trafficked forum for the club, go do topica.com and search for LSSHOC and join! Love to see you our at the next gathering! thumbs_u

I'm just looking for somethng cool to put on my rear window to compliment my other shameless advertisements for performance products.
Thanks

Well Martin had a guy that made decals down in Houston for us, but so far it has fallen through. Just keep track of the topica.com site, and we will post the details when Martin and I get them together. Probably in the fall when it cools a bit more, and it will be easier on our shos. Looking like Oct or so if I had to guess..

hey sweet, im a member now!! Cant wait to meet all of you. By the way, i got in a big argument with that shop i told yall about and after giving him the 8th vin number... they agreed to install my headgasketts if i pay them 50 bucks more. I think the whole "my sister is a lawyer" line actually worked! So, they will be picking up my 91 MTX tomorow morning. *sigh of relief

When will the next G2G be, anyway?

I remember someone mentioning that it will be somewhere near San Antonio, is this true?

I'll be in Denver ( very possibly trying to wrangle a 550 HP Mustang , heheh ) September 8th-11th. I hope this isn't the time, I'd like to be there again.

Damien,
Probably late September when it is a bit cooler for our cars to be out streching their legs. Martin and I will keep the club posted.

I'm still alive! :)

Actually, I have my eye on a real nice white 91 SHO. It belongs to a close friend of mine in Missouri. Chrome slicers, plus hood, rod shifter, and other goodies. It would make a great daily driver. Hopefully, I'll have it by the middle-to-end of September.

Mark me down for the next Run. Jen is in the process of buying a 98 C5, but why bring a Lightning or a Vette to a SHO run? SHO all the way! I miss my SHO bro's! frown

Why is that people sell their SHO's then a year or so later they want another one? The car must have some special powers that it makes the person want another. Weird.

Mexican, it sure ain't the speed.

I miss the gas mileage, the 4 doors, the cheap ass tires, and most of all, I miss the damn thing braking down on me. I also miss throwing thousands of dollars into mods to gain a whopping 2 fwhp.
:)
Ahh, SHO ownership. Can't beat it.

In all seriousness I miss the car, plain and simple. I could buy an Altima or some other recently produced high-powered 4-door, but a Gen 1 at less than $3000 is hard to pass up.

Yea, Mexican, we had a discussion a longggg time ago about the possession of the SHO...seems that as they left the factory assembly line, one special person at each FoMoCo plant had a job title to do nothing more than issue the final curse to each and every S H O he laid hands on!
We have tried to locate this individual by using our highest upper-level spies to no avail...they have seemed to simply disappear...if you ever happen to meet one or hear about where one could be found..let us all know..
Now you too know the secret of the S H Os..Long live our cursed bulls.
Ma Ma M eek!

I think its some damned chemical or drug that Yamaha put in these cars. Just can't seem to not spend huge amounts of money on them...

Or at least that's been my experience for the last 12+ years!
