I took my kid to fill out a job application and when we left i noticed smoke comming from the driver side under the hood. I get home and opened the hood and there was antifreeze all over the back side of the motor and on the brake fluid resivor. I can not tell where this is leaking from or what hose may have blown apart. any ideas?

Check the hose on the back of the block, drivers side. There's a short piece of rubber hose before it turns to a metal hose, maybe 5 inches long starting from the block.

I just had the car running and opened the hood didnt see anything leaking so i thought i would rev the motor with my hand and seen antifreeze ******* a stream up at me. so I guess it would be the throttlebody hose?? it doesnt look like any fun to replace it.

Search "Throttle body bypass" for a method of eliminating those coolant lines, making your intake much easier to take off in the future and eliminating a few sources for leaks.

I hate to say it, but all those hoses age at roughly the same speed... once one goes, a lot are going to go. One of my heater hoses burst... then the other one burst three weeks later, then the TB hose burst a week after that. You would be well advised to replace as many coolant hoses as you can while you're back there.

Well I just replaced the one leaky hose and I should have done all 3 but it wasnt really a pain in the ass as i thought. The damn hose had a freakin pin hole in it!! one good thing came out if this i didnt have to pay for the new hose.
