Do u scrape the ground alot?
Do u scrape the ground also? I would like to get a skirt kit but tatsefull one...You do have an option for color matching the bottom dimpled plastic cladding/rockers.
Albeit aftermarket.
I had mine meticulously prepped multiple times over to arrive at a smooth surface.
Painted gloss black, cleared 3x, then 3M Clear Bra'd after that.
Have been looking as good as day 1, for many years now.

Ok thanks.. Yea the look is great..Sometimes. Depending on the angle of the incline or decline. No big deal, makes a little noise and you can't see any damage. It's a cheap enough part that can be replaced over time if needed. I'm willing to sacrifice that for the look.
Will never machine wash it, but hand washed every 2 weeks, and waxed with meguiars ultimate liquid wax with their Polish 1st as needed. I hope never to put swirls in itWhite platinum. Total sleeper, nice clean look, easy to keep clean. Plus it doesn't show swirl marks as bad.

Nothing shines like a black though. You can see the greens and reds in the paint when the suns out.

ok thanks.. Also I'm leaning towards White, lol..You would have to have the work performed by a local body shop.
That's what I meant by "aftermarket".
It's not an item that is merely available for widespread purchase.

White is actually the easiest to keep clean of any color vehicle. I use to work with a detailing company.White is a pain to keep clean. Red I always get tickets, magnetic is what I have. Almost went with the black. Magnetic don't show the dirt as much. Wish they had a blue.

How did you black out the chrome in the doors around the windows ???

I also did the trim on the fender around the SHO emblem and the rear chrome. Right over the top of the ford emblem A heat gun worked real good.
