Help Stripped caliper.

I Went to put on my Cobra brake calipers, and the hole where the brake hose bolts into the caliper is stripped, can i heli-coil it?? what size do i need?

I don't see why it can't be Helicoiled. Thread size depends on the caliper year. Do a search and you will find your answer.

You can heliciol it or you can send it out to be repaired. I would think about another caliper. Not sure about aluminum shavings getting in there. I'm sure it's been done many times though.

I did the same thing putting in the wrong sized speed bleeders in a caliper. Look for the correct banjo bolt and you should be able to ref. the correct size needed.

I already dis-assembled the caliper to ensure no shavings. Reason that i didnt buy a new one is because they Say Steeda on them and i just got down powdercoating them.
Bolt size is m10x1.5 BTW

That's a pretty standard size. I had a set of Baer and sent one back for repair. I forget how much they charged. It was many years ago.
