Help out your WISHOC Webmaster

I am supposed to be the Webmaster of WISHOC. I will tell you I have not received any requests for putting stuff out there for quite awhile. However, I did lose my main PC a couple weeks ago and I lost my web authoring software along with my saved passwords to the WISHOC server.

#1- Some guy had the password to the server he sent me and I need to get them again. I think Andy out of Green Bay might know whom I am talking about.
#2 - I will be getting the 2004 Poker run off there as soon as #1 happens.
#3 - I got rid of my email address listed on the WISHOC site due to 100+ Spam per day.

Honestly, I wouldn't even bother with the website. WISHOC has no attendance normally, it's really pathetic.

The few of us that do show up contact each other...

I was wondering if the site was ever going to be updated again... I thought I had at least sent some pictures of my SHO in for tha gallery?

Maybe attendance will be better this coming year. Hey, I made to one event at least

I have the login and password for the site. Now I just need to d/l some free web editing software like HomeSite or something.
I will get some 2004 info. off of there and welcome any new ideas. I have this week 3/6-3/12 off. 3/7 is my birthday and I sure you can imagine I won't do any work on it that day.
However I do plan to work on the site thru the week.

This is probably a good time to mention this ...

I'm not the webmaster of wishoc.com, but I'm the domain name owner and server owner. Because of the cost involved in general hosting, and that I never use that server anymore, I'll probably be letting my contract expire. Good news is, there's about 60 days before that happens, and I make regular backups of everything on the site.

That said, I don't know whatcha all want to do with the site, but I'll happily let everything expire so someone else can pick up on the domain name and hosting.

It's relatively inexpensive - about $15/mo depending on the host and whether they impose a quota on bandwidth or not. The domain name is something like less than $10 for a year or so contract.

I'm hoping not to sound like a ***** bumping the site like this, but since I really have no point as a player in the group, or even own an SHO for that matter, I figure it's best being owned and operated by someone w/closer ties to the group.
