I am a first time sho owner. I recently bought an 89 sho and I have been having some problems with it. The main problem is that there's oil leaking onto the sparkplugs I believe that I have to change my valve cover gaskets...if anyone will like to assist me and get my sho up and running again that would be great...I'm offering 100dollars to fix the problem plz PM me if you live in the NYC area and have experience working on the sho thankyou

It's not a terribly hard job. Maybe do a search for "60k maintenance". You will get some info on the valve cover gasket job as well as the rest of the suggested maintenance items. Also, head over to www.shophoenixproject.com i beleice there's a writeup there on how to get it done.

Your valve cover gasket kit (from Felpro) is not too expensive and it comes with little individual circular gaskets that sit at the bottom of each spark plug well. These little guys are the ones that keep the oil out of the spark plugs. A lot of motors currently have this system (any hemi) so it is common knowledge among the service guys.
