I had a 2015 and a 2018 SHO. Both were leased. If Ford didn't discontinue the Taurus I would have leased another.Anyone still use this club forum? Anyone still around with SHO's?
nice cars, there are after market parts out there for them. now after my exhaust was done I ran into one, I ate the stinger without more than downpipes, we were door and door for the first maybe 1/8th then i pulled away hard when turbo was boosting me. I didnt do a boosted takeoff, it was a glance last second, before the light changed.I had a 2015 and a 2018 SHO. Both were leased. If Ford didn't discontinue the Taurus I would have leased another.
So after extensive research I ended up leasing a 2022 Kia Stinger GT2 AWD Scorpion Edition. All reviews in respected automotivepublications where absolutely positive. She is powered by a 3.3L twin turbo V6 - 368hp and 375ft lbs torque. 4.6 second 0-60. She rips rear wheel bias. Gearing is 3.56 - very responsive throttle when in Sport mode and it has valved exhaust when it Sport mode.
Live in da WI - it blows me away that ot many people know what a Kia Stinger is. Kinda a pain when filling up at the gas station - lots of folks ask - what kinda car is that. She is a great looking car IMHO.
you are more than likely correct and so true, my guy was a GT, more than likely a 2023.Also consider that some Stingers are GT line models that have either a 2.0L turbo V4 (2018 2021My) or a 2.5L V4 turbo. 2022 & 2023 MY. Hard to tell what ur racing against in a stoplight to stoplight Gran Prix scenario. I will say that IMO a stock GT1 or GT2 Stinger (3.3L Twin Turbo V6) will beat a stock 4th gen SHO.
