Well seems like I started backwards on this site as I went straight to buying stuff then posting some tech questions and now Im introducing myself.
Names Carlos im 27 years old and Im a gearhead. Been into cars since a very young age as im sure alot of you have been as well. Got my first car at 15 a 73 Mach 1 and until last spring I owned it so 12 years with it, we had a good run together. Since the age of 15 Ive always owned atleast one Mustang at one point I owned 3. When I was 17 I purchased a 93 SHO 3.2 ATX in red, super clean car with low miles had 20/30k at the time I bought it as a DD. Back then it seemed much easier to pick up parts for these cars. While I never bought the car to be a monster as I had my drag car of the time I still thought with the mods I had the car was very respectable.
OFF Road Y pipe
I believe Borla cat back
SHO SHOP 3 piece UDPs
CandL 80mm Intake setup
LPM
built atx with shift kit
I sold that at the age of 19 as I boght a new DD a 96 Cobra that is now my full on trailer *****. Ive gone threw many cars in that period even my one and only import ive owned an 05 Mitsubishi EVO8 RS that I had running 11.7s on a bottle 75 hit and stock turbo and clutch. Mostly they've all been mustangs from 5.0s to 460s. I had recently sold my 85 Capri I built a nice 302 carbed for it and was a street legal car out here in AZ and it was going to be a strictly bracket beastie all nuts running low 12s gutted no options except a cage and some race seats. The truth is I needed a family car as my daughter finally started school and we now needed 2 cars to pick up and drop her off so I sold the Capri were it will get a 460 and a th400 and will live on bottle and turning 10s motor and 9 on a big hit. The search for a "family" car was easy for me I knew exactly what I wanted and so when i saw the white one on craigslist I knew she was the one. The previous owner way undersold it as the body is incredibly clean, the engine pulls and tranny shifts like a much newer SHO. It has its issues here and there mostly interior is ****, but nothing my Corbeau Forza isnt fixing for me to drive it. I will be doing a swap to black interior and re upholstering the rear seat with corbeau fabric,my munchkin has to ride in style too.
Right now the only mod on the car is the muffler setup it has cherry bomb something or other, doesnt sound bad actually and the tips are perfect and look great on the rear. I have a cone filter I bought and removed the snorkel besides that I wont be doing much besides upgrading the front brakes to 11.6s I just purchased from a member here. I purchased all new struts all around as well as motor mounts, spark plugs wires and fel pro gaskets and a new FPR. I will prolly pick up one of the accell coil packs. I will be cutting a dead coil on my springs to get her a bit lower. I have a set of rims Im looking to buy they are Sparco Terra's havent come out yet they do next month. Shell also get tint cause well its Arizona and im not crazy. Anyways a little background on me went o UTI and graduated at 20 have worked at dealer ships and smaller shops. In 06 I wrecked my evo head on and shattered my hip, since then ive worked from home and at the casino playing poker. I sell parts alot for Mustangs 99% of the time. My fiance is about to finish law school at ASU law so im hoping this time next year well add a new 2013 SHO to the stable for her as I love the new ones. Anywho some pics to entertain you.

baby F2m for the Cobra

need to mount my tires on my new rims Billet specialties

Cobra brief review is a drag car (clearly) 4.6 DOHC stock bore stroke fully built 11/1 comp. race ported heads and MMR RTS sheet metal mani. 120# injectors with an Anderson *** tuner. FR500 cams. Coan Built powerglide with an F2m custom setup cog drive setup for 30 psi with A/W intercooler. I can go into more detail if people want later if not no worries. Finishing touches being put on her currently should be doing shakedowns soon. Itll be a low 8 sec car with the power she makes.
If you read this all thanks I guess cause I dont like to type. I hope to enjoy this forum as I really do enjoy SHOs.
