Hi Everyone,
Although I am a new member to the forum, I have visited many times in the last several years to see what other SHO owners were doing. I sold my first SHO, a blue 1995 about 10 years ago after moving from Chicago to Dallas and always hoped to buy another one. About a year ago I found and purchased my second one, a 2011 with 80k miles in tuxedo black. I was looking for a newer one but I knew I wanted to moderately modify it and I couldn't pass up the deal I got on this one.
For the last several weeks I have been reading up on possible upgrades and trying to learn from all of your expertise. I share in your enthusiasm but I lack your knowledge and vocabulary. I will at times ask questions that seem stupid but only because I want to do it right and will need an explanation that any 5 year old can undertand.
My goal is to take my car to the next level or two. I want more performance but I don't need a 12 sec. car. I want my SHO to look classy yet sinister, where it could be appreciated in a parking lot full of foreign "sho offs" or at the local dirt track. I also want it to sound slightly angry but not to level of some rice burner with a lawnmower under the hood.
This car may be going to my son, who shipped out yesterday, after his training and he receives his orders so it's important to me to prep it with him in mind as well. I thank you all in advance for any help and especially the patience.
