www.v8sho.com is the best resource known to man on the V8 SHO. You will learn to love that site.

As for your intake mod, you are actually worse off then stock as far as performance goes. The way it sits, you are sucking in hot air from under the hood. The stock intake is a CAI in itself. The power increase you think you are feeling is attributed to the increase in intake noise that the cone filter gives you. The best thing you can do is to get a K&N panel filter for your airbox and remove the saxacone in the fender. Then Put a coupler on the airbox where the saxacone used to attatch and run that into the fender. With this mod you will get almost the same amount of intake volume, less intake restriction and cooler air then the setup you have now. This is called the "porterization" of your intake. There is a huge writeup about this on V8SHO.

Welcome aboard. :thumb:

People will beat this to death, but I was a big fan of my exaust set up.

I removed the third cat and put in flowmaster 40 delta flow mufflers. I welded the stock tips on as well. It has a **** of a mean growl which followed all the way up in the revs.

A big improvment you can make is to purchase a tuner

Group buy price ends tommarow.

Black SHO's are the best in my opinion.

Thanks for the information guys. I'll read up on it. For now I think I'll hold off on the X-Cal Group Buy.

Thanks for your help.

Yeah mine is black also, someone once told me it looked like a phantom. Hey Nik97 how did you paint those wheels?
I was thinking of black wheels with the actual rim ring left as chrome.

For the money, around $1000 as a matter of fact. You can get the SCT Xcal2, Advantage Pro Racer software and a LC-1 WBO2. This and a laptop will be the best performance money you will ever be able to spend on the V8SHO. After beefing up the tranny and TC of course.

Yay, another NJ SHO owner.

Brunswick Auto Pros on rt 1 in North Brunswick. Like any other shop out there, people have been satisfied with them and others have not.

I would try to get Kirk to weld your cams when he is available. He's not that far away from North Jersey.
