Welcome to the forum and the Ecoboost community, 2016-SHO! Post a couple of pics of your new ride, please :) What color/options did you get, and how did you arrive at the SHO as your ride of choice?

I got it with almost all the available options. I didn't want the PP with the summer tires, so I got the driver assist package. I won't be beating this car all that much, as I have a 454ci 70 Stingray for when the mood strikes. I've had my eye on the SHO since 2010, but just never got around to getting one, until now. I need to have some better pictures taken, but here's what I have. Being prepped at the dealership.

That Stingray's gotta be a terror! Got any pics of it share?
Again, I'm terrible with pics and the Vette was just painted and put back together. It's an original 70 LS5 454 390hp 4 speed car, but the numbers matching engine is tucked away safely, as is the original hood, because if you know anything about old chrome bumper C3's, there's no clearance for a hi rise intake manifold. L88 Hood is the only way to go. I put a HO454 425hp GM Performance crate motor in years ago, so I could beat it with impunity!! I also added a picture that was taken when I first bought it. New frame and new engine was in 2006.

They both look good. I'd love to take that vette around! :)

Nothing beats horsepower, comfort and quiet!! The SHO has does it all.. Much less torque than the Vette (500lb ft) and a much different curve. That said, the Vette is fun in it's own way, but it's loud, creaky, clunky and it likes to overheat if you get stuck in even the slightest amount of traffic. I beat it up around town and out on some of the quiet back roads, but rarely ever go more than 10-15 miles from home.
