When I have my heat on it hesitates for a second when I first accelerate, everytime I start to accelerate -- backing up or from a stoplight, etc..... Anyone have this problem or know what may be causing it?

Do you mean that the blower motor speed changes or does the airflow change from the floor/vent to the defrost.

It's usually the airflow switching to the dash. This is usually caused by a vacuum leak in the line that goes through the firewall.

If it's the blower motor changing speed, it's probably the blower itself.

I have the vent on. I am at a stoplight. when the light turns green I accelerate. Right when I accelerate the blower motor literally stops for 1 to 1 1/2 seconds maybe a little less hard to tell. Then it goes back to normal (continues blowing) after the 1- 1 1/2 secs until the next light.
