headrest removal

I have the same problem-nobody knows how to remove the headrests on this car(without cutting). Sort of a bummer huh?

IIRC you ahve to unzip the seat cover and reach up inside from the back, and release something. sorry the info's spotty ive never done it, thats jsut what i think i remember being told.

I unscrewed the black things and a few cuss word and a threat to trade it off on a yugo it came off! Everything went back together just fine, they still move up and down.

For removing the headrests, I just posted a complete writeup with pictures in the how-to section. Once the post is moderated, it should be there for all to see!
