The only other ***** was the power steering pulley. Same reson for the crank bolt problem: Red Loctite. I jammed the pulley with a screwdriver handle, and the pulley's tweaked a bit now (but fixable). Use a strap wrench if possible.
Once the battery and PS reservoir are out of the way, it's really not bad at all. Don't even attempt the crank bolt without the starter bump.
Here's a tip on idler/tensioner bearings:
After researching cost/availability on them ( eek! , BTW...), I repacked them myself to extend their life. DO NOT REMOVE THE SEALS. I used a piece of .040 stainless safety wire, ground a chisel tip on the end, and bored one hole through one rubber coated metal seal by hand. Only took about a minute or 2 each. DO NOT USE A DRILL, and DO NOT PUSH TOO HARD or the seal will bend. Get a grease gun and needle (Lincoln model #5803 needle) and SLOWLY squirt a pump or so in. You will blow the seal out if you go too fast, or put too much in. A small screwdriver will push it back in when it does blow wink . Clean the hole and reseal with a small dab of RTV. thumb
