After months of low speed turning, and braking creaks, and I mean LOUD creaks, I think I have found a solution......... After searching, I have found that the springs don't seat well into the rubber bushings, and they turn, and move around inside of the strut and make the sound. Now this is only been a week, but it worked, and just in the nick of time, as I was even thinking about putting stock springs back in.

All I did, is take the two front springs out, spray belt dressing on the rubber seats, and sprayed top and bottom coil with rubberized undercoating. Re-seated, and not a sound since! If this works for any length of time, I will be thrilled!

LOL, my wife makes fun of the car for this same reason. You can only hear mine from the inside of the car just when parking or backing out so it really doesn't bother me anymore. But will have to give your idea a shot to shut her up, lol.

Mine was driving me freaking crazy!!!!!!! Loud, and embarrassing as **** to roll up in a 45+ K car, and it sounds like a coffin closing

I have the same problem. Has any tried replacing the strut mounts, I've heard it helps/eliminates it. I have the new ones in the garage but haven't done it yet. Houston summer heat sucks

I did that first, even new strut.... Trust me I didn't spray undercoat on my springs as first course of action. LMAO
