When I pull fuse struts difference is big. Now how do I know when there bad. Everything rattles pretty good. 130000 and northeast ohio. My mounts are bad that I know. Would bad mounts contribute to bad rough ride or just noise? Thanks.

If defused there is a major difference, the struts are likely working fine. Your very rough ride could certainly be partly the mounts, if they are flexing a lot. Noise is more likely to be other worn out suspension components.

the rattles that you hear are probably the front sway bar links. when they wear out they tend to clunk over every little bump that you hit.

Any of the above could be true but if it rides rough the struts are likely ok because they ride rough. If anything rattles on my 96 SHO it makes it seem like it rides a lot worse than it realy does.

You mentioned pulling the sarc fuse yes? it'll ride rougher with that fuse pulled. Check endlinks, tie rods, that's typical suspension noise sources. Bad mounts will certainly be audibly noticeable, mine are about toast too.
