GOOD speakers for doors?

Thanks for the info!
I am sure that the Dynaudio 6.5" would put out more bass. I sure wonder if they will fit. I dont want to do a custom job, though I might get something for putting speakers in the kick panels.

I also saw that Dynaudio has speakers that might really work well in the back, the model IP-24M, which has a new 8.5" free air woofer, which sounds like just the ticket for that area.
I just ordered the new Pioneer Audio/video DVD, Dolby 5.1, DTS, surround head, so I also plan to install a center speaker where the panel on which the cigarette lighter is located.

I forget what car audio magazine had a review on the Infinity Perfects. It was actually somewhat favorable. They said it was a good speaker for the price but that it's creeping up in price to the better components. But I always had thought they were crap. I'll have to listen to a pair for giggles. boink

Hmm,
maybe two Focal woofers and a Dynaudio midrange and Dynaudio tweeter in each custom kick panel with plenty of power to push the Focals. Since the Focals have such a low resonant frequency, they should put out some pretty good genuine woofer sounds rather than just low midrange, since most 6.5's resonate at around 60 Hz or more, which limits their lower frequencies to low mid range even in a good sized box. I haven't seen any 6.5 speakers with as low a resonant frequency. Maybe a home speaker might.
