Does anybody have any tips on removal of the lock cylinder in the glove box?

The service manual is vague in the description. It says apply pressure to cylinder and pry it out.

I do not have the key, but I am able to turn it 45* as per the manual.

I need to swap it out to match my trunk key when I swap in the black interior.

Any help is appreciated.

you have to push the cylinder in a little so that you can release the 2 catch pieces on the back side. then it will come out.
